These addon managers are opensource therefor you can say they are transparent and safe to use as anyone can see the code for themselves and author of these can’t really hide anything malicious there. But not only bad reputation, even the video ads that will be played inside their garbage app is the reason behind all these (their apps were/are even marked as trojan by some antiviruse softwares). I hope I'm making some kind of sense in my post, English isn't my mothertongue so bear with me. But I've read that Overwolf has a bad reputation, what about that? Is that the reason why other addon-managers are shown/used? Somewhere I read that Overwolf also has an app so I guess the Addon Manager will then be on the Overwolf app that "we" would have to/could download (same like some time ago when CurseForge was bought by Twitch, we "had to" download the Twitch App).

If I understood correctly, Twich sold CurseForge (which is the addon manager for WoW and many more) to Overwolf. Will be nice not having to open up and check TukUI every so often to see if there have been updates to ElvUI! Link your wow addons folder into a dropbox folder and use that on any machines you're on. Still looking for addon manager(exept twitch one), what can sync addons between few PCs.
